A seasoned Finance and Governance Executive who has led the finance teams of various start-ups and established entities including Access Bank Zambia and Prospero. Kakungu has a strong background in new business development, financial analysis, project evaluation and process improvement. She has provided leadership in the development and evaluation of organizational short and long-term strategic financial objectives and ensured the effectiveness of various boards and governance processes. She is passionate about creating value for the organizations she works with, and brings diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as well as a collaborative and supportive approach to working with others. Kakungu is a Chartered accountant and a fellow of the Zambia Institute of Accountancy she also holds an MBA from the Herriot Watt University
